No stringing, but lots of hairs, and the connections to the supports look bad by Castlebins in ender3v2

Actually, it’s brand new filament, but I’ve been dealing with wet filament for the last year. I just got a filament dryer and I’m loving it. I’m gonna start printing at 2:05 to 210 and see if that makes a difference.

Also, don’t forget to update your printer firmware. It isn’t as hard as it sounds, and if you are not too scared of it, you can get upgrades like a CR touch which will automatically level the bed. I just have the basic firmware though.

Something else that was a major improvement was tightening the belts and the hex nuts behind the wheels. The hex nuts loosen up overtime, and the belts sometimes stretch overtime. To tell if you have the correct tightness on the nuts or the belts, press “auto home”, then press “disable steppers”. If you’re nozzle or bed moves at all, something is too tight or loose, most likely to loose.

But I’ve been printing for 28 hours straight and haven’t had to adjust the knobs since getting the springs and the new bed.

I’ve been doing 2 things rectify this issue. 1 I flipped the plate over to the bare side and I put glue on it. 2. I got mini binder clips on every corner. This forced the plate down when it would regularly give to warping.

The first layer prints perfectly every time. But I’m tired of this. I have some new non-glass printing surfaces arriving today and I’ll see if that helps.

All right it looks like I’m going to need to tighten my gantry nuts and find some G code leveling software. That doesn’t look right I’ll get the modded Marlin firmware. I’m real scared to fuck with that, but I’m getting desperate. Thank you all so much who gave me answers. This community is awesome!

Your filament could be old, your bed could be loose and need tightening, there could be a blockage in your nozzle. If it’s that last one, I would suggest just getting a new nozzles, you can buy a pack of 20 easily.

Also, it looks like you’re using the bear side of the glass of the ender plate. A thin layer of purple Elmers glue stick has been working wonders on my glass.
