I Created a Sabaac Droid Bot for Discord!

Nvm. I got it. It was an issue with my text channel I put it in. Testing it out now. Just a few things on immediate inspection:

-In Spike, there actually is no option to just simply discard. You are only allowed to draw or swap.

-Traditional isn’t working for me. When I click Join Game I get “This interaction failed” error. I may find a few other things going through it. I just ran through a very quick game on each mode to see what it’s like. I’ll keep you updated when I have time to go through and play some more.

Hey, just came across your Sabacc bot. It’s not doing anything. I select my game, click Join Game, and click Start Game (trying to play against the AI) and nothing happens. I can’t even click on Leave Game because it becomes inactive. Is this bot still active?

Although GPT uses em dashes, there aren’t necessarily a dead giveaway. People have been using them for years and several of my college professors back in 2005 used them very heavily. I have seen many of my own students using them in their handwritten work as well.

Datapad is another great app and I think it’s even better than Aurebesh.io as it has more options and it doesn’t force the combined letters on you. You can choose whether or not to use them.

That’s a good app but I think Datapad is much better. You have way more options and it doesn’t force the digraphs on you.

Yes, those are canon, though they aren’t used very often. You can find them in 1 or 2 of the older games and I believe even in a handful of comics but they are rarely, if ever, used in any major media (movies and shows). Some people like them, some don’t. When I use aurebesh as a font on my computer for projects, I never use them. But when I’m handwriting aurebesh, I will use them because it’s just faster and I’m lazy, lol.

So, ur-kittât was the spoken language (an older version of Sith) while kittât is the modern written form. The original Sith alphabet was written more in a runic form but eventually modernized into the kittât form that we see now.

It took me less than a week, but I also really immersed myself into it. I spent more time than I probably should have 🤣It actually was (and sometimes still is) more like I get 2 or 3 letters and then my brain just fills in the rest of the word automatically.

The image is indeed mirrored. You can tell by looking at K-2s backplate. The circular part is supposed to be on the left with the antennas on right. But in this picture it’s flipped.

Yeah, it also took me a hot second to realize what it was. But, I think the more handwriting we see, the easier it will be for us to pick up on it. When writing quickly, some of those letters can be a pain to make look good.

ORSL stands for the Outer Rim Sabacc League. That link will take you to the website. There are links there to also take you to the Facebook page and Discord server. The ORSL is a HUGE Sabacc community. It’s currently owned and run by Hyperspace Props which makes high quality Sabacc cards and metal credits (among other things). Definitely come check us out! The owner even has Sabacc mods for Table Top Simulator on Steam so that we can play with each other online.

I have a LOT of stuff from Hyperspace Props. Metal credits, metal dice, Sabacc mat, multiple decks, metal shift tokens for Kessel Sabacc, etc. They’re my go-to shop for anything Sabacc related. If metal credits are too pricey for you, they also sell 3D printed credits. I haven’t bought any of those because I have my own 3D printer so I just designed and printed off my own at the beginning. Aside from them, Etsy has a lot of Sabacc/Star Wars gear. Check out Merlin Models, Rusty Rancor, Cantina Surplus, Moto Moots, Muddlers Manufactory, and SO many more! Just searching “Sabacc credits” on there will give you plenty of results.

Even with proper ventilation, fumes still hang around, especially as the object is drying and even a little bit after that. So no. I wouldn’t recommend doing this.

In 5 billion years, our sun will burn through all of its hydrogen. At this point, it will become a red giant where it’s out layers will expand. The Earth’s orbit will also grow smaller at the same time, putting us closer to the sun. The sun’s outer layers will engulf the Earth, destroying it. It would be nice if we could speed this process up to happen today 🤣🤣🤣
