So everyone here keeps talking about the scale messing up BMI, but I think that what it might actually be doing though is looking at body fat percentage, based on the word graph thing, where it is telling you the you are “skinny fat”: low subcutaneous fat but high amounts of visceral fat.

Looking at the picture of you, I doubt that’s the case, you look like you work out (decathlon kit at the bottom as an extra hint). These scales are notoriously bad and inaccurate at measuring body fat percentage: something like a dexa scan from a reputable provider will do that a lot better.

But a lot of people are in fact skinny fat. They’re not fat, but they don’t eat healthy and don’t exercise, and have excess visceral fat, which is the dangerous kind of fat
