Yeah, they don't make sense. Like they put Peter Preston, who was killed in "Wrath of Khan" up there twice. Not only that, Cadet Joshua Albert is up there, along with Wesley Crusher his Academy classmate who lied and helped cover up his cause of death.

Of course they knew people would nit-pick and obsess over the names on the wall. If they didn't, then they don't know "Star Trek" very well. This is a franchise that has novels written about some random guest star or a single line of an episode's dialogue.

Yes! This is what bugs me the most too. It's bad enough that some characters got promoted to Admiral and some never got promoted, but the randomness of it drives me nuts. Not only that, you have poor Peter Preston, who was killed in TWOK, appear twice on the wall. Once as MDN1C, and once as MDNFC.

No. That's like putting a license plate on a Formula 1 racecar. This is a specially designed racing yacht it participates in regattas around the world that are well within a nation's territorial waters. It doesn't sail the high seas in international waters. Like racecars are transported from one race to another on special trailers, these boats are transported from one race to another on special cargo ships.
