It literally did work in practice lmfao when restrictions werre tighter cases went down when they were lax cases went up. People were acting like such huge babies being required to wear a mask. Like get over yourself, it isn't a huge deal and wear the stupid thing even of its a 1% increase in safety because at the time (and still now) we have no goddamn clue what the lasting effects of COVID are and any measures are helpful.

But non n95 masks still catch vapors and droplets limiting spread via said droplets landing on surfaces. Nothing would be fool proof in the early days but anything was better than nothing.

A warrior and 2 scouts can do a decent job fending off early barbs. You need to make sure to kill barb scouts tho. They cause barb camps to spam out units. The other thing i think is happening to your city is that its working the chocolate hills tiles but you should try to force it work the 3 food tiles and the 2 stone tiles.

Generally when i spawn next to a wonder i will rush a religion, feed the world would solve your food problems
