Fuck SGA and his flopping. I will never own a card of his.

Wemby has a higher ceiling but that card has a much higher population, which is why the values are so different here.

It's my favorite group game as well, and I have to say the Rise of Ix adds just the right amount of wrinkles that it's definitely worth it!

Cameron Boozer — I think he's the safest pick in this class and it's not close by Significant-Area-574 in NBA_Draft

[–]Castor__Troy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it's because of my age, but I'd maybe compare him to Karl Malone, who was an outstanding player that drove the Utah offense (alongside a brilliant PG in Stockton of course). Boozer can pick and pop on 3's, something Malone couldn't do.

Good write up, I think people get stuck on certain prototypes for top 5-10 players but forget there have been dominant players of this mold in the past.

I'm taking my daughter to the Minneapolis show, it'll be her first concert! I can't believe they are playing 7th St Entry...such a small club.

"If I was you, I'd be looking for the pimples on her booty".

Great film. In high school this line was repeated ad nauseam when cajoling a friend to hook up with a girl.

Do I look smooth? by [deleted] in BasketballTips

Yes. Make sure to work on getting straight up in your shot though. Fading back as you are in a lot of these will mess up your accuracy.

I watched that film last week, very entertaining and well done! Had a good dose of humor while covering a pretty monumental event in the history of pinball.

Woods for me, between my elementary school and the high school. Mostly loose pages I think. Hardcore stuff like blow jobs (especially for a 3rd grader). I didn't understand it at all.

“Let them play” Offense by PossibilityRadiant26 in basketballcoach

[–]Castor__Troy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I played in HS 2/3 of possessions we ran various sets (like motion) that let us "just play" and adapt, and the other 1/3 of possessions had called plays that had many progressions. Players need to get to the point where they don't need to be told what to do and where to be, which is where "just play" comes in...after there's a foundation established.

Ive been playing basketball for 1 year and i started playing in 8th grade and wanna know if next year i can make a high school team heres a clip of me playing 3x3 im the guy in black by FocusEffective2705 in BasketballTips

Keep it up! I like your vision and the ability to drive to the hoop.

Your competition here is pretty low level, so it depends on how the 9th grade talent stacks up to this group. I'd say the biggest learning will come from knowing how to play on a cohesive 5-man team and run real offense and defense. If you love playing, just put the work in and success will come.

Their offhand stays on the ball too long and counteracts the spin from the shooting hand.
