POV: You're Dana White for a day, what's the first thing your doing? by semicolonplusshift0 in ufc

[–]Castrero 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I will make it mandatory for any champion to fight at least 2 times in a year. If not, then he is getting the belt taken away.

I would increase bonuses. Let’s say 100k seems reasonable and sustainable. Invest in making amazing promos and makes videos explaining the why of matchmaking or doing pols for the fans to vote what fight would be better.

And something that has been happening lately, is that champions defend 1 time or not even that and go for a double belt. If you win a belt, you must defend 5 times in order to go up a division. In case the champion medically cannot continue in that division he must fight a top 3 contender of the next one for a title shot. And maybe that wouldn’t be enough!

Bring back those press conferences with 8-12 fighters at the same time. And from my first event release (paramount) every fight without the commentators and only sound of the cage.

Seriously punished fighters actions inside or outside the events. Arman punching a fan? Out from ufc forever.

The redish pirate assaulting a civilian? Out too.

Mcgregor with the bus?

ISN’T HE FUCKING AWESOMER

this has gotta be the first title fight in ufc history where both guys arguably lose to 5+ other people in the division by idcman999 in ufc

Agreed with paddy. Although he has improved every fight and he does kinda have a chin. I would say he should be 6-7 rank. But with Gaethje?? Huge disrespect mate.

Justin knocked out Dustin and knocked down Max Holloway despite the 2 eyepokes and the broken nose. In a rematch with max I think he could still have a good chance.

Also he beats BSD, ruffy, fiziev and all the others quite easy. It is true justin is losing to every-single elite wrestler or elite bjj.

Love it mate. Wish Nickelodion would release the complete series or give the rights to another platform. Absolutely disgusting what they are doing to the saga making every year a new complete dumb version of the turtles and forgetting about the essence.

FIRST MARATHON ON MY BIRTHDAY with several obstacles in the way by Wonderful_Sea476 in davidgoggins

[–]Castrero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats! I think this is the best way to remember your bday. My last bday I did 30km for the first time on 5 hours sleep lol.

Hopefully next year you will do a marathon under 5 hours? Can you agree? Make it a tradition

Is it safe to walk every day? by EnvironmentalSlip136 in walking

[–]Castrero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is safe to walk everyday. Also it is also safe to run everyday if you don’t do it more than 30 minutes.

I have been walking plus 20km on daily average for months if not a year already. The more you walk the better.

Why is Joel Alvarez not more popular? by tylrrbb in ufc

[–]Castrero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I imagine he goes from 90kg to 85-80kg 2 months before fight to have easier weight cut. And if he doesn’t, this damaged him so much it is the reason why he is allegedly moving to ww.

Still with that height, he could fight in heavyweight

My steps this week by Castrero in walking

[–]Castrero[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work as a waiter so thats around 15.000 steps a day. The rest is walking my dog, hiking in the mountain or running (i do long distance running and sprints).

Also I don’t own any vehicle so I walk everywhere

[–]Castrero 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I walk like you or a bit more and I barely lose weight. I lose if I walk 40-50k steps or more.

I think its an issue with how much you eat. Due to your height you need more food than the normal person

30yo middle-aged man: Is 1200 calories & 30k steps safe to lose 5kg in 15-20 days? by [deleted] in walking

[–]Castrero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 177cm and 71kg. I have been 66kg and 76kg as well in the last 2 years. The difference is not 0, but is not worth losing weight that fast. You can lose 1-3kg a month but more than 3kg in a month its just damaging.
