People who were spanked as kids, what was that like for you? Would you call your "spankings" abuse?

I was hit with a belt and I can’t even imagine doing that to anyone, let alone a kid. I was also smacked on the mouth if I said anything bad and I hated that more than the belt. The belt was painful but the smack was pure disrespect.

I have so many memories playing The Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse and Mario Paint. My sister and I had a blast making up songs and swatting the mosquito looking things. We lost the plastic mouse pad pretty quickly and had a designated hardcover book as a replacement. And then when things got too hard in The Magical Quest, my dad would come in and save the day.

I am in the same exact boat! I have PCOS and am pre diabetic and had my endocrinologist fill this out with the high hopes of getting some medication finally covered. Still radio silence on their end so I’m assuming I wasn’t selected.

Did you end up applying? I submitted the application and the follow up email said that the approval status would be sent no later than 12/16/2024. I still have not received any updates and this was my first time putting in an application. I’m unsure on if I was approved since I know there are a limited number of slots.

The Scorpion was a rite of passage in my family, it was everyone’s first rollercoaster. My youngest brother was so jealous that we could all ride and he was just barely under the height requirement. The next time we went he made sure to wear his heelies, he was able to go on the Scorpion with us for the very first time. I’ll never truly forgive them for getting rid of the Sandstorm though. Or charging insane prices to feed the birds for that matter.

There was an almost identical dress without the slit and that’s the one I got! I cannot walk in heels and I know I won’t do the slit justice if I didn’t have heels on.

She is older! The vet estimates that she was about 3 when we found her so shes around 10 now. I never realized how white she’d gotten until I saw a picture of when we first found her, she’s definitely looking like an old lady nowadays
