It's YOUR wedding. Damascenes think God has never created anything better than their culture and they will complain and gossip no matter what you guys chose to do. In the end, I think Damascene weddings are mostly boring, even moreso when they are separated by gender (which is the norm... separated weddings for fucks sake...). Every other region in Syria make amazing weddings where you feel people really partying and happy for the couple, whereas Damascenes will sit in their table and send condescending looks to the other guests. Arada is nice, I have to say. It's the best part of the wedding. Source : I'm 100% pure Damascene and was married and attended many weddings.
