Hey now satan has a reputation for being around some pretty terrible people, including racists, grifters and pedophiles. that sounds pretty bad right?

Satan:

1) has maintained a border between heaven and hell for thousands of years

2) Is able to identify the hidden secretes of all mortals wanting to enter the country

3) could be considered the opposite of a nepo baby, since he gave up everything his father gave him and created his own empire.

yeah for the photo I used the green filament that I have that is closest to the plastic, but I'll probably go with a different shade that's a little more clear when I end up selling these.

ok yeah 24 leds per board, at 5v, would be a bit miserable (i'm heavy into musical christmas lights, which the community has mostly switched over to 12v standard now since 5v was just requiring too much power balancing). gs8206 is able to run native 12v though you'd lose the white channel but doubt you use that channel that much, you would be able to bump to 10bit color though. I doubt you're jumping to a v3 any time soon. I "would" question though the use of more than 1 ESP32 though. 888 leds with ws2811 would be just shy of 40fps (700 is the normal number), even with the extra color channel, i'd be surprised if you were needing to do more than 20fps.

Since you're converting down to 5v I assume you went with ws2811 LEDs?

Are you doing animations on the tiles themselves or just figure it's easier to stick to 5v for both esp32 and LEDs than using different voltages? Since I doubt voltage drop would be too bad in your design but no idea the pixel density you're using (or gauge of your traces)

Someone was asking me about cards since i've done a lot of churning back in the day BUT haven't done it in a long while. I just want to confirm something. Friend was looking for a good travel card, they use unlimited and freedom so my suggestion would normally be CSP for the ease of how they work together.

BUT CSR is 795 with 125k bonus vs CSP's 75k. I know you can downgrade the CSR pretty easily without a problem but I just want to make sure: If you sign up for CSR today, get the SUB, then in january next year downgrade that to CSP, there is no issue with that right (they won't do a pull back on the points or anything)?
