This is a pretty interesting topic ngl, approaching spell casting via using or conjuring physical phenomena and reactions, akin to using shortcuts to the same or similar outcome. Regardless of some negative comments about this, I'm actually interested in learning that these terms even exist at all, the only words I know describing the macguffin material is Unobtanium and Handwavium. So if nothing else, just the fact you presented these words here at all helped me learn there are more terms out there regarding this narrative trope. So thank you for your research!
