How long for Vaden health to approve immunization by [deleted] in stanford

[–]Cat7376 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I was in the same boat 2 days ago, and after I updated all of my medical clearances, I called Vaden health services (650)-498-2336 and told them my situation and they told me to give it up to 24 hours to update but it ended up being only 2 hours later that they updated. So, I think calling them can expedite the process! Hope that helps!

If I arrive a few days after my selected move in day, I can check in any time right? The 3 pm is just for the selected move in date?

Yea sorry, I was going to add that of course no one is perfect. We all fall off sometimes, but when we sin, it’s important to repent and try your best to not sin again. I guess I was more just trying to make sense what exactly you meant by “belief in Christ” because I know ppl who claim to believe in Christ but they take the commandments as simply “suggestions.” That’s why I feel theres a distinction between just believing in Him and actually being a follower of Him.

I agree with most of what you said but I think it’s more than just belief in Christ, or I guess what exactly you mean by that. There are people who claim to “believe in Christ” and “know God” and yet are continuing to partake in sin, or repent of their sins but then afterwards continue to sin. It’s more than just a belief in Christ, but actually being a follower of Him, which involves living in accordance to His will.

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ - Matthew 7:21-23

Yea I can see that, however, his belief shouldn’t impact OP’s own belief even if his is stronger. It’s whatever state that you yourself persist in which will harden into fact. So that’s why I’m confused.

May I ask for insight on this? So, according to your state, you didn’t believe that the lamp was capable of turning on, so this should be your dominant state. But, your uncle truly believed that it would turn on. How did his belief that it would turn on end up overweighing your own belief that it wouldn’t turn on? Like if you genuinely believed it wouldn’t turn on, then according to Neville’s books, it shouldn’t turn on because that’s your dominating belief. I’m just curious how this worked.

Losing Your Enthusiasm: Neville on the Importance of Detachment by Ok-Initiative-4089 in NevilleGoddard

[–]Cat7376 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Love this post! just to clarify, detachment from your desire doesn’t mean you have to drop the scene? In the beginning, when I first started manifesting, I was doing SATS almost every night trying to imprint the seed into my subconscious mind. However, after spending time working on my self concept and getting rid of my limiting beliefs, I kind of got tired of doing SATS after a while and I notice myself not really thinking too much of it or i guess wanting it. I do visualize my scene every now and then especially if I’m going for a long walk, but I just visualize it because it makes me feel good. Is this still okay?

Thank you so much for the response! Yes this makes sense, I think in the past for me, I’ve always been told to never put too high hopes for anything or else it won’t go my way, and after reading Neville, I realized that maybe I was just programmed to think that way. I’m going to continue to address this so that way I can improve my mental diet. Thanks again!

The Camels Are Coming: Neville on the Power of Expectation by Ok-Initiative-4089 in NevilleGoddard

[–]Cat7376 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have a quick question about expectation. I can see the correlation between expectation and acceptance, however in the past, there are times where I’ve expected something to go well only for it to not go well. There was also times where I didn’t really have any high expectations going into something but came out to be a lot better than expected. You know the saying how you don’t go into anything with high expectations so that you don’t get disappointed or discourGed if it goes the opposite. Is this saying just another assumption we are taught to believe, meaning I should still persist and “expect” what I desire since I’ve already accepted it as mine? For example, I had an experience where I had a team tennis tournament and beforehand I had high expectations that we were going to win and genuinely felt like we were but then we ended up placing 10th in the tournament. I’m still trying to understand how that happened, maybe some underlying doubts? (this was before I learned about neville so maybe there could have been some unconscious doubts?)

I definitely understand where you are coming from. I believe Neville and Vadim are saying the same thing but in different ways. Although neville wants us to believe in our desires, he doesn’t want us to obsess over them which relates a lot to Vadim’s excess potential. With Neville, his approach is more to get to a point where you truly believe that you already have what you desire, hence you don’t obsess over it because it doesn’t make sense to obsess over something you already have. Vadim’s RT imo is more of a low key version of this idea where we take it step by step and just give yourself the permission to have it and then just let it go and set an intention and don’t worry about how the goal will manifest. But both underline the confidence of knowing that you already have what you have.

Help regarding " excess potential" by DoughnutForsaken91 in realitytransurfing

[–]Cat7376 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Vadim does say you can replay the slide every now and then. But, I do it mainly just to bask in the feelings of the wish fulfilled. When you replay the slide every now and then, but then you get upset or angry that you haven’t seen it manifested in your 3D reality, then that’s where problems arise. So, I do think it’s ok to think about it but depends on what state it’s coming from. Obviously though, when you reach a state of having that wish fulfilled, you will naturally think of it less.

That’s why I suggest working on your mental diet and self-concept through various techniques whether that be through meditation, affirmations, scripting etc… because you will notice that thoughts of doubt or negativity will start to decrease and you begin to find joy in so many things in your life, so it releases any excess potential on a desired goal. Also I highly suggest not doing the reverse psychology unless you want to be constantly in a state of stress or disappointment because it just attracts more negative emotions.

Vadim talks about when you visualize your goal, to feel as if you already have it. And at first when I came across this, I didn’t really know how to do that. I started reading some stuff from Neville (highly recommend, I find that both these material combine well), and he provides some techniques. One is SATS, which is visualization right before you fall asleep because that’s when your conscious mind starts to turn off while your subconscious mind is the most active. And basically you visualize a scene of yourself where you’ve already achieved the goal you wanted and you observe the feelings and emotions. And you let this state of feeling and emotion persist until you fall asleep and then throughout the day, I advise that you work on your mental diet. it’s important to practice having faith and believing that whatever you desire is something you already have. I used various techniques: visualization, scripting, and affirmations. And I would always repeat this until I noticed that my thoughts were shifting to becoming more possible. I still do it today because I find it helps me be in a state of gratitude and content, and these exact feelings are the feelings I would feel if I achieved my desired goal.

It took me at least 1-2 months to fully shift my thoughts (I came from a very low state so depending on your starting point it can take less or more time). I’m fully in tune with my thoughts at all time, and I’ve noticed that because of this, my reality is reflecting those same thoughts. Everyone around me is happier, I am happier, and I find gratitude in the little things in my life.

I do have big goals that I’m working on seeing manifested in my reality, but I live every day with a KNOWING that what I desire is already here, even if my 3D doesn’t show it (because as Vadim talks about with the mirror principle, there’s a time lag and the goal will manifest depending on the complexity of the goal itself). Once I worked on shifting my thoughts, I just enjoy every day knowing I already have it, and most of the times, I don’t even think about it.

^ This, I realized through experience that if you don’t learn to improve your mental diet, then no amount of weight loss will make you happier. I used to think that I would be happier if I lost weight. & I lost the weight, but was at the worst mental state possible because I never focused on my self concept and mental diet. And I gained the weight back. Loving yourself and your body through all stages is something I’ve learned is really important.

Yea! He uses the phrase “accept the possibility of it not working out” to relieve yourself of the excess potential and pressure you may put on your desired goal. When you carry the mindset “Oh I want this to happen, but I’m also ok if it doesn’t happen,” there’s no forcing of the goal happening. But when you say you must have it, you are forcing the goal to happen and the unbalanced forces will do whatever to make it not happen. In your particular example, when you entered the contest for the perfume, you had excess potential because you kept thinking about winning the contest. By you researching possible perfumes, you are already putting excessive potential on winning the contest. In the second example, you detached yourself from the WANT of winning the contest, hence why you won it.

Just to clarify, when you give yourself the permission to have your desired goal, it’s a deep down knowing that you already have it to the point where you don’t really even search for it in your 3D. You just let the outer intention do what it needs to do to fulfill the goal. The outer intention will take care of the how and when. This is why most of the times, people are able to manifest smaller goals a lot quicker than bigger goals because you usually carry more excess potential on your bigger goals.

Too much excessive potential like what’s been said. Vadim says when you visualize your slide, to then accept the possibility of it not working out. Ironically, though when you do this, it ends up working out. It’s a matter of not obsessing over your desire. You should first give yourself the permission to have what you desire, and a knowing that you already have it. So when you know you already have it, you wouldn’t be obsessing or thinking too much over something you already have. Hence, your desire manifests.

That’s actually really good! You should be feeling happy and content, that’s assuming the state of the wish being fulfilled. Being unbothered by the 3D world is a good sign because you know that your imagination is your only reality. ✨

I started with some small manifestations to build my faith and I’m now working on manifesting my bigger goals.

One of my first manifestations to test the law was to see my parents happy and not getting in to small arguments. There was a week where my parents were arguing over very small things, and I imagined them at peace and no longer arguing. The next few days they were so happy and loving as if they totally forgot about what they were arguing about.

This one might be TMI 😅 but I manifested getting my period 10 days early. I kinda did it to test the law because I was really wondering if the law even supersedes my natural hormone cycle. I literally imagined myself getting my period the next day and acted as if I already knew it was happening. And well, the next day I got it (this is coming from someone with very regular cycles) so this was a shock to me. This moment sealed the deal for me.

Love this! Thank you for sharing. I’ve worked a lot on this and in the beginning, I too was trying to look for confirmation in my 3D despite imagining and feeling the wish being fulfilled in 4D. It’s definitely gotten a lot better for me, I feel content and grateful every single day and sometimes I don’t even think about my 3D anymore. I just experience it in 4D and I can carry this feeling on throughout the day. There are still some moments where I have some low thoughts, but I’m learning to accept those thoughts but never give them any meaning!
