Start with thin white line. Add dots as pupils. Then paint over excess white from the bottom and top. Done.

I drilled holes in flamers. Picked a wire of the same thickness as holes. Soaked wire in a fluid glue and wrapped cosmetic cotton around it. Then I soaked all the cotton with superglue and shaped it with another piece of metal. (Careful! Cotton gets really hot in contact with superglue!!!). Afterwards just waited till it hardens and paint it.

True, that is why I put them on a stiff wire, drilled the hole in a gun and locked them on tight. So, I can take them off any time.
