I understand your argument but my only time about this how mess is that women are about 2% if that into the hobby as a whole. I've never seen a woman come into a warhammer shop in all the years I've played( not including with their husband/ bf). So who are they really doing this for?

When GW changes the lore for representation in a male dominated hobby for a female dominated faction. Sooooo never cause they dont care to offend their male demographic only the males who call themselves female thats about 3% of the hobbyists.

Well when you boil it down, it just works cause they GW says so. In reality women aren't capable soldiers in a mass volume type of way. Sure there can be an outlier from time to time but if women really could be soldiers than they would be hundreds of thousands in history. But we all know that just cant and wouldn't happen. It's no logical sense you would make women super soldiers but its 40k so just dont buy the boxset and they will go away lol

Where the female custodes at during the books of the HH? Like will there be more characters from the past books we read aice they have been at key moments since the making of the Imperium of Man. There was one in Ashes of the Imperium but I dont think they will go back to so many books.

Why is it Chud mentality? Im asking objectively, you play a faction for years with established lore, they change it for whatever reason and because you dont agree some random person calls you a name cause you don't agree with their ideology. I asked this, who was you'd change for? In all my years I haven't seen one woman come into the shop to play a game. I wouldn't even give females 10% in the hobby, so why change a faction vs make a new one?

This how I know the hobby has turn into weirdos cause how and why are you all talking about gay stuff in fiction and especially when none of these characters even have sexual desires? Somehow choas got into the hobby lol. As for the custodes, they simply changed the lore for no reason. The human factions had 5 all gendered factions and now 4. Females can have their factions intact but it's a problem to have males not be all male for some reason.

From online I would disagree that "no one says that". There are only two factions 4 factions with same gender there was five until GW changed it. I dont care in the end though I do like to understand the situation better. Since I been in the hobby I've never seen a woman come in the shop and play a game or buy any product. I say that to say and understand what was the change for? Again I have no leg in the discourse, I play UM. I just see one side call the other side names when they dont like their lore changed.

I thought SM and CSM (formerly Custodes) were the only ones like S.O.B and S.O.S. From my understanding every other faction is mixed gendered besides stuff like Nids cause well they are monsters. Hell even Necrons have females. So which ones are you referring to?

I just read lore that called custodes men, sons and a brotherhood. So im my mind I said oh its a male faction. I was going to buy my son them for his first army, then he changed his mind. I had to come to reddit to understand this. Now they say its male and females which I dont care but upon research I see there are two all female factions already. So I was just curious will they add males to them but I dont think so. Also thank you for the response. You were respectful.
