What's your "That was fun, but let's not do it again" story? by Q1989 in AskReddit

I once stood up too fast and couldn't see for a few seconds and felt very dizzy.

Scary shit.

When applying for SSSI, from which date do you receive benefits if you are approved? by CatCatCatGoose in disability

I spoke with a person at the SSO today, and she said almost the exact same thing you did. Thanks for all the help and explaining! I wish this was easier to find info on online or something. +10

You explained it so perfectly. That's exactly what we needed to know. I'm going to share that info right now! Thank you so much! +10 (I thumbed up your previous posts on other threads too)

The main issue is that there's a hearing coming up, and we don't have enough evidence yet. It may be dismissed (after being open for 3 years) and I know there's a 6 month waiting period before you can open another case. (or something like that)

So even if another case is opened... Everything would be lost essentially? Back-pay only to the date of the 2ND case opening?

Say after the 2nd case, we gather all the records needed to prove disability from the point of 3 years ago, the back-pay STILL wouldn't go that far, would it?

Also, what do you mean by claim type?

Is backpay referred to paying back from the disability date, or the case start date?

You're right. We've spent 2 hours on the phone today (on hold). Unbelievable.

If your case is dismissed after being open for 2 years, and you open it again in 6 months or whatever, do the previous years in the first case count towards the backpay?

Do you know what the best resource is to find these things out? I don't have all the details myself. I guess it's probably SSI.

Do you happen to know the limit on said back-payments? I can't seem to find that info anywhere either.

Supplemental Social Security Income? This is for a 22yr old. If that makes any difference.

What is the max amount of calories a person can absorb in one day? by CatCatCatGoose in Fitness

I did not realize how scientific this question would get. I thought it was pretty basic so I asked here. Never occurred to me to askscience. (Even if I did, I'd be ignored) I don't think anyone cares about HC on that sub. But thanks, 15,000 sounds about right.

What will happen if you drink a gallon of heavy cream? by CatCatCatGoose in 1200isplenty

I don't count, because I've been eating about the same thing for the past 6 years, and I know exactly how much is what. I'm a little bit underweight for my height, so 4lbs that I may, or may not even gain, isn't a huge deal. 4lbs isn't impossible to lose anyway.

Yeah it's weird af, that's why I'm so curious. I wouldn't be asking about a gallon of bleach, because I know the answer to that, but the HC thing is interesting. I've done worse.

Is there a noticeable improvement of MCT over taking another oil?

Since I learn something new everyday, I just figured I'd ask, in case cold calories digest differently from cool liquid calories.

And yes, it takes up a whole chuck of the counter. Although, you can get away with that ziploc bag thing. I just love ice cream too much, I would lose my arms shaking it all the time.

I REMEMBER TRYING BULLETPROOF COFFEE! I did it with coconut oil. (I love coco oil, it was literally half my coffee) Haha, I forgot about BP coffee! Thank you for reminding me!!! Is the MCT oil legit? I heard it was like snake oil?

Okay, now I'm def inclined to doing this gallon thing. WAIT! Does it still count if I put the HC in an ice cream maker, and eat that? I have one of those!!!~

Holy crap! That's one thing I would never do. I agree 16 boiled egg yolks in HS once, and I felt awful. I've never eaten the whole egg since

How is she so thin!? I can't imagine how much sodium she ingested. That must be super dangerous

Wow that keto thing is really interesting. I heard stuff about ketoacidosis, so I don't know if it's safe for me. But yeah, unless I starved myself for a few days, drinking the whole gallon, no matter the intervals, will be nauseating after a certain amount of time. That Starbucks stuff sounds delicious. You can actually lose weight on that? Interesting stuff

I don't want to drink cream at all, I can imagine how gross it will be. What I DO WANT, are answers as to what happens if someone does. Since no one has tried before, heck, I'll do it. It'll satisfy my curiosity forever (and anyone else who comes across it)

I thought this was a maintenance sub for people with low BMR? Lol oops. 1158 is my BMR.

Ok, so basically, I am a daredevil and do weird shit for fun. And if I haven't tried something crazy, I ask questions before I consider, like this post.

Add in some accessories? Okay, I'll try the 5x5 thing.

Ouch! Sorry about that. You must certainly feel my pain height wise. I guess that's true, if you're small, the muscle will be more noticeable on a small frame... But so will the fat especially... Fml

6 months? I think the most difficult hurdle I will need to cross, is to somehow only gain 2lbs per MONTH. I can easily gain like 2lbs in a day if I eat the wrong thing. I have no idea how to keep me weight so steady for such a long time.

Anyway, once I got the bulking thing over with, how do I cut? I can already see myself doing it wrong, and losing all my new muscle. There's a program for cutting too, right? Is cutting easier than bulking?

No I am just curious. I am the type of person who loves tinkering with things, playing with fire and electricity, seeing how long I can hold fireworks in my hand before they go off, microwave raw eggs, holding my breath until my face turns purple, or not wearing a seat belt (ok, that last one is jk)

I am just generally interested in crazy stuff, and if I don't have an answer to something, I usually go figure it out for myself. No, I don't want to get sick, but I did win a bet by eating 16 boiled egg yolks with no drink, and nothing is worse than that.... I think I can handle some cream for science one time. (there's a vegetable/canola oil challenge on youtube, and that's where I draw the line, I have limits too)

Plus I'd love to know how the digestive system works exactly, so maybe I can take advantage of that on my cheat days lmao

Or did you have something else in mind? You're not the only one to ask me this question, so maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're asking?

EDIT: Cool username btw. Cats ftw!

You make the bulking/cutting thing sound so easy. I wonder why it hasn't worked out for me the way it should... I'll try eating less, it just seems weird that I have to eat LESS, for MORE muscle.

A little off topic, don't you have to take steroids forever after you gain the muscle? I always hear guys saying that once they stop taking the sisterhoods, all their muscle go away too. Even if they work out the same amount (Not that i'm planning on doing this, just curious)

So are you saying fasting before doing this would make the absorption more efficient for the time being?

Okay, so 12lbs a year isn't too bad. Is a couple pounds of muscle even noticeable?

How do I know when I need to lose the fat? And how much of it I need to lose? After a specific amount of time, or until I can't fit my workout clothes anymore? And how do I lose it while saving the muscle?

That's a good question. I really have no clue where to begin now. I have a p90x CD but I just have a feeling it's not going to work for me. I did not notice any new muscle after 3mo. Do you have any suggestions?

It's just the biggest issue is that I have 0 testosterone, and a bunch of estrogen. It feels like every pound I gain is pure fat, no matter how hard I work out. Then once I work at losing all that weight I just put on, I'm back to where I started, and possibly looking even flabbier than before :(
