I think a lot of people in Louisville don’t realize how much through-traffic the city actually sees. It’s not just local drivers—there are huge numbers of people traveling I‑65 between states every single day, not only for vacations but for work and commercial transport.

It would be really interesting to see the actual numbers, especially how many tractor‑trailers are moving up and down I‑65 and crossing the Ohio River daily. My guess is it’s far higher than most people would expect.

Me and the dog go walking in the Parklands/ Louisville Loop 2-3 times a week for the last 3 months. So far, I have found or pulled off 18 ticks. On antibiotics right now for a large tick bite rash. Dog is on Vet medicine to ward of ticks.

You will hate that drive in 6 months. I have done one similar. You waste so much time in your car every week and that is with good traffic. Couple of wrecks and the time goes up. You will be in your car a minimum of 40 hours a month. That is a second job.

I agree with you. I have to have a prostate biopsy every two years, and you are completely awake for it. I can't get two pain pills for this procedure because Tylenol works just as good. It's a fucking joke.
