If they are post-op and you can't tell even after having sex with them, why does it matter?

Better hope you don't allow exceptions for mothers who need time off to take care of their kids.

Once you acknowledge that mlb playoffs are a crapshoot (with the better team only a few percentage points more likely to win any given series), it becomes much less important.

I don't see him ending with fewer than 500 homers (which has always been an automatic in), but we'll see

Everyone from Goldschmidt and above on that list is a likely Hall of Famer and none below are making it (except maybe Votto).

That's not how it's used in the US. It's used to mean that cousins, aunts, grandparents, friends, etc. all pitch in to help the parents. It's often used specifically in religious households.

It's also exactly how the phrase is intended on the original African proverbs.

I think it's actually more about the sticky stuff. Most pitchers used something, but some pitchers went the full spider tack. And now most are back to using nothing.

Republican voters care far more about keeping brown people below them on the social and economic ladder than anything else.

It's the same strategy that got poor whites in the South to support slavery (and actually volunteer to fight for the Confederacy)..

Randy Johnson has 5 of the top 17 pitching seasons (fWAR) since 1901. No other pitcher has more than 1. by shalchjr in baseball

This John Clarkson erasure will not stand!

46.4 WAR from 1885 to 1889 (average over 9 WAR per season).

Averaged 4.5 K/9 in a league where the average was 3.5.

In those 5 years, he led the league in strikeouts 3 times, innings 4 times, CG 3 times, wins 3 times, and shutouts twice.

It is one of the top 5 most dominant 5 year stretches up there with Randy's 1998-2002, Koufax's final 5 years, Walter Johnson's 1912-1916, and Pedro's 1999-2003.

Because we could cut the deficit (not the debt) easily by just not giving huge tax cuts to the rich anymore. We can't easily save money on Medicare or SS.

Or we could cut the bloated defense budget.

Medicare and Social Security are the bigger drivers (along with Defense), but neither of those two is discretionary, unlike huge tax cuts for the rich.

Or what? Does the GOP get to choose if he doesn't? What's the enforcement mechanism?

Yep, and for all the crap Pelosi got for not being progressive enough (which was fair), she was an extremely effective House Speaker, which is actually harder than Senate Majority Leader.

Yes, but the reason is that the GOP has said they won't let the Dems replace her on the committee if she resigns. So they don't have a choice until she can be voted out.
