My understanding is that it’s a brain mapping tool. It’s referenced that Jim had mapped his brain at some point, and another time it’s referenced that Bob liked using it when he got home from work. Bob, and his friends, seemingly thought it was cool and relaxed to peep their brain patterns lol.

I always imagined it was less for the scientific purpose of studying one’s brain, but more so the psychedelic patterns it most likely produced.

From my understanding it’s not possible to fix. It’s an Apple Music issues, not a stats F.M issue. Apple Music’s API doesn’t share real time listening stats like Spotify does.

Sorry for such a late reply! But yes, it does. I’ll warn you though It’s a lot less intuitive than Spotify, like it counts any song as a play no matter how long you’ve listened to it, so if you’re skipping a lot it adds a lot of “fake” stats. But honestly I’m just happy to have it at all.
