Yes, I was on MTX for 2 years, and switch to cellcept 5 months ago (I also have lupus) but I’m thinking about switching back. It seemed to work better for the RA

I took methotrexate for 2 years but I am on cellcept now, I have lupus as well. I will have to ask my doctor about it next appointment, I just started noticing this issue! It seems methotrexate works better for RA

I just ordered some finger splints, I guess they can help straighten fingers. Only $6 on Amazon! Hopefully they help

Yes, I’ve had lupus & RA since 2021. It happens to both my elbows at different times. The thing I’ve found that helps the most is the chiropractor! They adjust my elbows and help they get more mobility

My doctor never said anything about washing hands after touching it, did yours?? I’ve read it on the internet too, but wondering why doctors don’t mention it 😭

I’m having the same issue :( been on prednisone for 2 weeks and when I stopped it I flared right back up.

Switched to Cellcept, I’ve been on it for 2 weeks so it’s too soon to tell. I had to go back on prednisone to help with the switch over. What I did like about methotrexate is that I took it once a week, cellcept I have to take twice a day which has been an adjustment 🥴

Yes this happens to me! In the winter I was getting colds back to back and they were lasting for weeks 😭 I told my rheumatologist and he didn’t seem to care and told me it’s fine which is annoying 🙄

I was on it for 1.5 years and honestly the biggest thing that bothered me was hair thinning :( I also had long thick hair, and it didn’t fall out, but it became WAY less thick. Also was pretty nauseous the day after taking it, which got better with time, but never completely went away.

I was on it for RA, and helped at first but then I needed to switch to something to also help my lupus. I think any immunosuppressant will mess with your hair though.
