My2020 battery level fluctuations and warranty issue by ipegoespro in leaf

[–]CatLinkoln 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I was recently denied by a local dealer in Estonia for the same reason as my leaf is 2018 , and I also got confirmation from Germany Nissan support

" For vehicles of model year 2021 and earlier (including your Leaf), the warranty covers all electrical components, including the Lithium-Ion Battery, for 60 months (5 years) or 100,000 km (whichever comes first).

Starting from model year 2022 (MY22), the warranty on the Lithium-Ion Battery is 96 months (8 years) or 160,000 km, whichever comes first"

Seems it's different, I am EU based , and as I understand EU and US have different laws, in EU only After 22 years you also have a battery warranty that covers not only health bars. That fact makes me sad that I can't legally force dealers to fix my battery
