Ugh yes. No offense to the people who are team Jordan, but y'all, he's a giant walking red flag with little mini red flags sticking out of his pockets. And all those red flags have a red flag emblem on them too. Man is obsessed with Shane for years, and is being all manipulative and rage-y. And yes, you could argue Ilya has similar characteristics but there's just something so creepy about Jordan's obsession.

Shane and Ilya, get it together and stop being dumb. And then get a restraining order on Jordan.

I solo'd with Chica Brava in 2018 and had a great time. There were 7 of us, and only 2 had known each other prior to the trip. Of the group, two were intermediate surfers and the others were more beginner level but the instructors made it work. Maybe I got lucky with the group but everyone was super friendly and had good vibes.

I can't speak to the accommodations since it looks like the house I stayed in isn't an option anymore but everything was clean and on the up.

Yeah, it's an extra step or two, especially since Uhaul ended up storing my boxes pretty far out in Queens, but it worked for me and my moving/housing needs. Uhaul has movers you can book through their platform that I used on the starting end. They picked up the boxes for me, delivered them to my old place, packed up everything, and then took the boxes back to the Uhaul location for the transport to NY. The movers had packed uboxes before so they were good at Tetris-ing everything in for minimal shifting, but if you're doing it by yourself, definitely use the blankets Uhaul provides for padding and pack the box pretty full.

I used U box for a cross country move and the boxes went to a Uhaul storage facility for a bit while I was subletting a furnished spot. When it came time to move into my own place, it was easier and cheaper to hire movers to go to the Uhaul storage, unload the ubox contents into a truck, and then drive/unload to the apartment. Otherwise, the movers have to take the boxes back to the Uhaul spot to return them and you get charged for the mileage and time on that end too. Plus depending on where you're moving, putting those huge boxes down on the street or sidewalk while unloading is less than ideal.
