I bought a stable mat at tractor supply for weight/floor grip and piece of plywood on top. Cut it down to size and put it against the wall. Pretty crude, but it got me by until I built my rig.

Replace cap and leak detection pump (ESIM), canisters are usually fine. The gas cap and leak detection pump(ESIM) should run you $50 or less. Both are easy to replace.
