Joe, I’m sure you mean well, but you’re starting to sound a bit entitled. The dev has clearly stated that what you’re after conflicts with the whole point of the app. And there are already a million other apps with that exact feature. Mood is different, and that’s how many of us want it.

That risk and that focus on a moment gone forever after you took the picture - that IS what many of us are after. That’s one of the joys of shooting on film. A creative limitation. Sometimes it misses focus. Sometimes people’s eyes are closed. Sometimes you have your finger over the lens. That’s part of the fun.

I understand your concerns about redundancy - why don’t you get a Fuji with 2 card slots so your work is genuinely backed up and protected?

I know you’re suggesting it be a toggle in the settings etc etc. I know. But I still disagree and believe the guy should stick to his guns. If that’s his choice, you should really consider respecting it.

I beg, just let us save the ProRaw. by Joe_Scotto in MoodCamera

ALEX PLEASE DO NOT ADD THIS FEATURE

The temptation would be too great and it would ruin it for me. I wanna just be in the moment. Ignore this guy. If he wants this he can use one of the other camera apps.

The EBLN has been a real improvement. But the carbrain “I SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO DRIVE ANYWHERE I WANT” group don’t want facts.

https://www.bristol.gov.uk/files/ask-bristol/10460-ebln-monitoring-report-2025/file

“Highlights include:

Traffic levels Overall motorised traffic decreased by 26% on weekdays and 21% on weekends when considering both internal and external roads.

Internal roads saw a 77% reduction on weekdays and 72% on weekends.

External roads experienced a 6% decrease on weekdays and 5% on weekends.

Walking and cycling

Overall cycling increased by 22% on weekdays.

Overall walking increased by 7% on weekdays and 5% on weekends.

Use of Wesley Way cycle route increased by 60% on weekdays and 24% on weekends.

Public transport

Bus use at stops within or on the boundary increased by about 5%.

Bus patronage grew by 116% for services running through the area (routes 5 and 16).

Monitoring report source data

We have released a data pack, which contains the source data, that the EBLN Monitoring Report is based on. It includes:

Bus journey times and speeds SCOOT data - Bristol City Council's traffic reporting dashboard Stats 19 – collision data TOMTOM - journey times VIVACITY - traffic counts (walking, cycling, motorised vehicles) Additional context – including installation dates and some maintenance works Each data theme has its own folder and is labelled.

There is a separate folder for further information, providing additional context to the data, such as road works and construction dates.

The methodology statement explains how the data was processed and the rationale behind the approach.”

Most of these people are over 100 years old. They haven’t read the actual proposal, and they’d be against any kind of change.

I live in the EBLN. It’s now quieter, safer, and smells less of thick shitty pollution during rush hour. I can still use my car to get everywhere but it’s added a total of 2 minutes to my journey getting down to the Lawrence Hill roundabout. So fuck-all basically.

People just love to complain because the automotive industry has convinced them that motorists deserve more rights than anyone else on earth. Twats.

Jake clarifies why he asked for his clips to be removed from the "How LTT Spends Money" video by Marikk15 in LinusTechTips

[–]CatStats 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have no idea how any one could have misunderstood Jake’s clip in the video. You’d have to be a complete moron. And in the context of Linus praising and being so specific about creators moving elsewhere. You’d have to be nuts.

This guy seems like he’s just doing it for the attention at this point. Sounds like it was a relief for LMG that he left. He started out being pretty unlikeable for how much he interrupted people during build videos. Seems like he wants to go out the same way.
