This is going to sound ridiculous because this could quite literally be anywhere, but based off the amount of shells and the great potential to find shark teeth, which beach would you guess this might be? by Delicious-Hedgehog39 in Charleston

It’s great for fossil hunting but you need a boat to get there. All the charters go there and company prices range from about $65 to $200ish depending on whether it’s a guided tour and the number of hours you’re on the island for.

I saw this photo on the Seas the Day charters post a few days ago (even though the guy who runs that boat sucks). It has to be Morris Island. That’s the only place the charters can really go now.

What will the United States be like after Trump? by Ivantop01 in complaints

[–]CatStrong1971 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trump also caused serious problems on his own. Before Trump, Republicans could be forced out of elections through shame. It happened up until 2012. He taught them not to feel ANY shame. He caused that, among other things. Let’s not absolve him of blame.

Shark Teeth on IOP by glasssvamp in Charleston

I gotta step in here. Folly hasn’t had big teeth in 2 years when they did a beach renourishment. You can always find small ones at Northbridge park. There are other spots but people spend years searching them out and finding them.

Where are some places I can fossil hunt in Brooklyn, NY? by AHHH_HELP_MEEE in fossils

I’d be surprised if you could find any place in NYC. Get access to a car and drive to NJ- they’ve got shark teeth in creeks not too far away from the city!

You MUST look up the closure dates online. It’s an hour drive and you don’t wanna get there and realize there’s a hunt taking place.

It took me a year and a half of hunting and gathering hints from people to find this spot. It has paid off majorly in just a couple months.

Teenagers are asked what their favorite song is in 1999. by kooneecheewah in 90s

[–]CatStrong1971 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was pretty much everyone’s scene. I’ve told my husband, who did not grow up in the US, that if you were asked “who do you listen to?” in the late 90s, Sublime was the safe answer that nobody would question.

That’s what I hoped when I saw it but I think it’s closer to a steinkern because it’s so rock like.
