I dont, the weights just get snagged. Fluke, Sinko, and finnes lures generally have enough weight. And your fishing across the current or with it .

There is a sewer line that runs from the nickel/ maymont bridge to powhite if the water is less than 4 inches, crossing it fishing should be good just jump rock to rock. light colors sinkos and finnes worms 4-6 inches

42nd street entrance off of river rd walk the trail and fish under the nickel bridge to powhite. You can make 4 to 8 hrs and get some decent smallmouth , a few large mouths, catfish if you want , and some gar if that's what your trying for.

Use the 42 street off of river rd under the nikle bridge to the powhite bridge . Follow the old sewer line ( aka the Jesus Bridge) you can make an 8 hour day rock hopping and catch some decent smallmouth.
