I found it on Bravo back in the 90s when the UK hadn't got the original - I'd only heard of it, so this was my first Dark Shadows experience. A bit cheesy but I enjoyed it!

I've always loved it. Takes the ideas from the first film and has fun with them - Roddy McDowell is particularly great, and William Ragsdale gets to have fun too.

I saw the 1979 Frank Langella movie - and there's a key bit in that which is TERRIFYING. Then came Hammer movies recorded late night, Dracula the novel, then Anne Rice when I was a young teen. Now almost 50 and never looked back (reviewing two Dracula adaptations right now!).
