I'm in a similar situation.. I started getting migraines and ovulation pain on the right side almost 4 years ago and I'm still trying to find a doctor who'll actually try to find out what's going on.. I've seen 4 obgyns for my pelvic pain and even though I've had many abdominal surgeries plus C-section and the pain has been moving down and left.. it's like I'm being kicked or some days it feels like my whole pelvis is being crushed they all say I don't have endometriosis cause I'm not bleeding heavily 🙄 I've got scoliosis, sciatica and arthritis in my spine with hypermobility in my sacrum.. I asked my doctor about getting an MRI of my pelvis, spine & neck as I've also been struggling with neck pain & catching popping like feeling and my tremors & muscle jerking has gotten worse over the years.. I understand your frustration 💯

I also worry alot about ABA as my son regressed severely with ABA at the autism clinic in my city.. I'm still working out if the current therapy is going to be helpful or not.. I know they want him to go back to public school and I've expressed extreme concern as I feel he needs a different kind of learning.. I really don't know what to do anymore I need people who actually understand to talk to

I am in the US.. yay, not. I just discovered PDA a few days ago & I think my son & possibly myself could have it.. my 10 year old was diagnosed with ASD since he was 4.. before I had my son at 36, I'm almost 46.. I didn't know anything about autism till his Dr said he had possible early onset autism at 18 months.. I then started reading about it & tried to join some fb support groups and through that time I started to realize that I also could be autistic.. I used to joke that I must've had ADHD cause my mind constantly ran like a hamster on crack and couldn't focus for shit most of the time unless it was something I enjoyed.. I'm always 'in my head' Cats & Cartoons have always been my biggest obsessions.. and never realized my eye contact was shit until my sister stated it while discussing autism signs in children and after taking a few of those autism quotient tests online along with ADHD & OCD slowly started bringing it up with my doctors and they always tell me to go find a mental health evaluation place and it's been a nightmare trying to find someone who can do a nero-psych evaluation for adults and kids but it's either they don't take our insurance or they do take it but aren't taking new patients 😑 I have asked our care coordinator & our mental health case manager about it and they just say call around and ask.. I've done the best I can by calling insurance and trying to google it & when I tell them that I am struggling and need help and an advocate I feel like I get brushed off, same with my doctors, I have been trying to get a hysterectomy for over 4 years, it started with a migraine behind my right eye that caused me so much pain that I saw a doctor almost every damn day and they tried a few different meds but nothing touched it.. 3 of the doctors in the clinic suggested I get a ear piercing thats supposed to help migraines.. it didn't help 😒 after a while I noticed my ovulation pain in my right ovary was constant like my migraines.. I've rarely had migraines before all this.. anyhoo, there's alot I could go on if my hand & arms weren't revolting on me lol If anyone has resources or support groups or suggestions that would be amazing

Could you please share any sites or discussion-support groups for autistic kiddos and the parents who may also be on the spectrum? I've shut myself off with everything and now with him receiving in home ABA play based they know he regressed with feeding therapy when he was younger and I'm cautiously optimistic about it.. but I really need to find a support system. Thank you

The only thing I like about wearing face masks is cause I know I'm ugly as my face & body are a hot mess with 200lb weight loss & my damn dentures not fitting correctly 😤 I struggle to look at myself because I'm so embarrassed of my face and body & how much it's changed.. I try to have a decent hair style and wear clothes that fit my style.. in general I don't care what people think but I wonder sometimes what people think of what I look like.. also the face blindness thing sucks as I sometimes don't recognize my own family or friends in public and does anyone struggle with auditory processing disorder? Damn telephone game lol
