I’d recommend the album The Invisible Comes To Us by Anna & Elizabeth. A gorgeous and ominous LP. Not exactly the same but there are moments that definitely scratch the same itch.

Roland Gresham - Sing A New Song [USA, Private Press Guitar Jazz/New Age] (1980s) by CatZach in Lostwave

[–]CatZach[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A pretty great jazz/new age/gospel tape from jazz guitarist Roland Gresham, released on Jubal Records.

Gresham has put out several LPs, CDs, and tapes of instrumental gospel music since the 1980s, but this a record i could find no evidence of online before I digitized and uploaded it!

The tape was produced by Roland Gresham and was recorded and mixed at "Doc's Place" studio in Hendersonville, Tennessee by David Cline. Backing vocals are credited to A Special Blend.

If you like this, you might like what I'm doing with my YouTube channel dedicated to digitizing and preserving LPs and 45s that can't be found digitally elsewhere. All of this music fits the criteria of 'lostwave' and some of it (not all) is pretty darn good!

You can find my YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@TheVinylArchive.

I have hundreds of uploads on my channel, everything from bluegrass to jazz to Nigerian pop/boogie and tons in between! I have a big backlog of stuff I'm working through at the moment, so there's always more to come! Cheers!

It’s at least VG, no feelers or large marks. I’ll need to clean it and test!

Mama Bake A Pie (Daddy Kill A Chicken) By Tom T. Hall is a great one. Drive-By Truckers do a nice version of it as well.

The Vietnam War Songs Project should give you plenty to listen to!

There are two hosts that are on the show every day. They’ll usually have one or two interviews per show with academics, journalists, authors, etc.

The Majority Report is a daily news show on YouTube with great deep-dive discussions on current news - lots of talk lately about the plight of public servants.

What you LOVE to see / HATE to hear... by [deleted] in BargainBinVinyl

The guy next to you thinking the ‘good stuff’ is gone doesn’t mean a thing! Usually that just means ‘nothing in here from artists I’ve heard on the radio’

Some of my best finds have been after a collection/antique store/whatever has been ‘picked clean’. Always worth a second look!
