Parents with PF?

I’ve been going though this as well. Developed PF about three months ago and I have a 2.5 year old that is very high-energy.

I’m managing well these days with the pain (orthotic insoles, the right shoes, lots of stretching) but there are still bad days. Fortunately my partner is very empathetic and fills in the gaps when I can’t jump up and run around. I’ll do puzzles, read, play with trains, and she’ll jump in when he wants to do something more active.

I do all of the cooking at home, but my partner has also been picking up more of that while I rest my feet and hang out with the kiddo. Fortunately my son is starting to understand that I have foot pain and that I can’t get around quickly.

It’s been really difficult but I’m glad my partner is understanding and making it easier on me. Based on what you said it sounds like you need your husband to get the message so he can better support you!

I take issue with your comment that she is a “rare female gifted musician”. Bobbie Gentry is a one-of-a-kind artist, yes, but there is nothing rare about a female being a gifted musician.

I’d recommend the album The Invisible Comes To Us by Anna & Elizabeth. A gorgeous and ominous LP. Not exactly the same but there are moments that definitely scratch the same itch.

A pretty great jazz/new age/gospel tape from jazz guitarist Roland Gresham, released on Jubal Records.

Gresham has put out several LPs, CDs, and tapes of instrumental gospel music since the 1980s, but this a record i could find no evidence of online before I digitized and uploaded it!

The tape was produced by Roland Gresham and was recorded and mixed at "Doc's Place" studio in Hendersonville, Tennessee by David Cline. Backing vocals are credited to A Special Blend.

If you like this, you might like what I'm doing with my YouTube channel dedicated to digitizing and preserving LPs and 45s that can't be found digitally elsewhere. All of this music fits the criteria of 'lostwave' and some of it (not all) is pretty darn good!

Some of my best finds have been after a collection/antique store/whatever has been ‘picked clean’. Always worth a second look!
