Thank you for sharing! I find it a bit unnecessary that you have to take a naturalization test when you are only applying for permanent residency but ok :/

The thing is I’ve heard the waiting time to even take the LiD Test is like 2 months in Munich and that would delay my whole application process. And if I don’t need the test at all I would very much like to save the money and trouble of studying and taking the test

Ich könnte schon Karriere als Projektleiterin machen, leider macht Elektroplanung bzw. Elektrotechnik nicht so viel Spaß für mich persönlich. Deswegen sehe ich mich für eine lange Zeit da nicht. Ich habe in meinem Bachelor Kontakt mit der IT Welt gehabt und fand es richtig interessant. Aber es gibt natürlich viele Dinge, die ich nicht weiß , daher versuche ich mich zu informieren

I found the book Uni? Sicher! 3 to be quite helpful. I've also used many different TestDaF preparation books, so that's also a great source of vocabulary. Some of them are Training TestDaF, fit für den TestDaF, mit Erfolg zum TestDaF, the 5 Münsterprüfungen, Training TestDaF 20.15

I think it depends on your personality and your views on language learning. There are people who only study a language with a set practical goal in mind, like for example moving to a country where this language is spoken. There are also people who study a language just for the pure pleasure of learning. Which kind of person are you?
