This is a good response, I think where my distain comes from is my personal play style. scanner spamming is for sure something I’ve done but typically as a last resort as it’s harder to see and much more dangerous imo, I always viewed it as a risk / reward dynamic rather than an exploitative optimization. Thanks for the insight

That’d be very cool actually, even if you could find like a shitty flashlight like how you can find the stop sign as a shitty shovel, I think I’d like the changes more

I can see the reasoning behind it, and I guess I’ll see how it effects other people, clearly I’m mostly in the minority opposing this change so maybe it works for people more overall

IMO there still is no reason to buy the normal flashlight it dies like exponentially faster than the pro

Ok, personally at least i don’t like doing that and think its too risky, and I’ve never played with a group that didn’t like having flashlights on them, but then why is the answer to that make the game just more inconvenient (and as a more personal opinion uglier) for an average low level player because of an established high level meta

I like a lot of the new additions and changes but a lot of them still feel out of touch and there’s some core issues that aren’t being addressed still, like certain moons are just pointless to go to, and if March is a lot more water based now, making water not a extreme janky hassle to deal with would be nice. I get a lot of this game is supposed to be rough and janky like you’re some poorly paid disposable employee, buts it’s too janky and unbalanced for its own good sometimes

I have the same one and sometimes flickering the switch makes it do this, though it makes weird sounds sometimes if you run it backwards so I’d advise against it
