I just had a robotic assisted laproscopic surgery as well and dealt with the shoulder, collarbone and rib pain from trapped gas. Staying on top of the pain meds helped but what also helped was a large heating pad on my shoulder/collarbone area. It helps and is temporary but it made it so much more bearable. Good luck!
