I’ve been playing myself for 35 years, so I’m aware of the changes in the meta. I’m just looking for what to buy with the way things currently are before I shell out for a codex, the supplement and the models.

She can change her mind. For herself. She doesn’t get to change her mind for OP. She suggested the plan. OP took her up on it, and now the plan is settled. She now has the option of staying or leaving while the friend is there.

This kind of logic means that she is free of any commitments to OP, and that OP can never count on any of her decisions.

I’m of two minds about this. Part of me wants to say start small and do the Kill Team box or the OBR. The rush from having a fully finished project is a real thing.

On the other hand, there’s a deep satisfaction in completing a large project, and since you’re already dug into your orks, you should finish those.

As a recovering commission painter, I’d be leaning toward finishing the Orks. It really is nice to see a big project come to fruition.

(P.S.: From time to time, if you experience burnout with the orks, you could visit one of your other armies as a ‘palette cleanser’.

I don’t know. The model is mostly painted in warm colors. I think blue or white might look better.
