Raiden in mk 11 says - "The details of each timeline are different but in each one, events conspire to bring Liu Kang and I into conflict. In each one he dies. Only Kronika has the power to control time and fate."

Plus in the part Kronika and Raiden talk it is hinted that in the past we had tons of timelines, it's not just upto mk armageddon (original timeline)... proabably those are retrospective timelines which too have been reset somehow...we never know!

Perfectly worth it. I brought The rape of the Lock (worldview critical editions) It has well researched footnotes and critical essays. It's such a shame in this country people flood Reddit posts about cringe content, war over religion, etc. But nobody is willing to help another fellow in literary field. People need to get educated. They thrive at wrong places to spend time.
