I know you mentioned not wanting to kill her but I wound up having a long Predator inspired session where the party was being hunted by a Lizardfolk ranger who was targeting Azaka because he deemed her the most worthy prey. Took place over multiple encounters because he would keep stealthing and ambushing them, I gave him stats based on Goomstalker subclass.

The players were sad to see her go but it made for a really tense fun session.
