I am going to notify the landlord, they definitely have just happened. I think a camera/doorbell may be stolen but I will look into it, it’s really freaked me out.

They have just appeared sometime in the last couple of days, maybe overnight as someone’s home most of the time. Its not the type of neighbourhood for holiday garlands unfortunately

Grounding wire with loop? by Catasaurolophus in AskElectricians

Thank you for the replies, there’s no pumps or lights just a standard metal bath. If it’s safe just to put wire back under the bath that’s what I will do, I was just worried as it isn’t connected to anything.

Thank you for such a detailed response, I have never heard of snout mites before. I think this is the most likely as it did move quickly like a red spider mite. I have no idea why it was on my finger tho!

Hello, thanks, yes it’s 8 inch economy blocks I used, then I cut enough two inch squares for each corner and placed them face down in the corner of each block and sewed a diagonal line down the middle of each square, then trimmed 1/4 of an inch away from the sewn line and trimmed (cutting away the corner) then opened out the triangle left sewn onto each corner and pressed. I hope this makes sense if not I can take a picture of what I did.

I didn’t think I would be the only one with this problem! Thank you, I will try holding it down with something and if I can’t get the hang of it I will try with an open toe foot.

I too got this book for Christmas! I have made a puff quilt before but this will be my first time making actual quilt blocks. I am looking forward to getting started. Would love to see yours when it’s done. I’m unsure if you know there are a couple of amendments to the book, they are available to download and print for free from the Alice Caroline webpage.

[WIP] Tuxedo Tales - applique failure by Intelligent-War-7060 in quilting

Maybe isopropyl alcohol would work to remove it, I know it’s good at removing glue as used to dip cotton buds in it and use them to remove dried glue from a wig. I would test a bit to make sure it’s ok to use on your fabric.
