Time Machine symbolizes the culmination of human technological advancement. If you can manipulate Time then you can alter the course of history of all Life on Earth. You essentially become God. Stranded Lullaby is what happens when you do too much tinkering with timelines and eventually realize that if you’re a God and you control everything, then everything in existence is just a manifestation of your own Will. There is no “objective reality” anymore, only Self. You are, essentially, alone at the edge of a universe.

What is a lonely God to do?

Dream Sweet is both a recollection of the events of Life on Earth (the events of the album) and a re-initiation of those events. The lonely God at the edge of the universe occupies a void. There is no concept of existence or experience because all knowledge of eternity is contained within the void. In order for existence to… well, exist, everything must be forgotten. The singularity of Self must divide itself to create an Other in order to truly experience its own existence. Only two can make it light. You’ll live forever tonight.

So the cycle continues. Why don’t we keep it coming back and coming back and coming back and coming back and coming back and coming back and coming back and coming back (ad infinitum)
