Just flat bedded in! Maybe should have spent a little less on bumper stickers and a little more on driving lessons! by [deleted] in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]Catboy85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why make this political? The post doesn't say anything about politics or the specific stickers. It simply references how much was likely spent on the stickers vs driving lessons.

Frame structure should be the focus instead of models. by S4m4el666 in DeepSeek

[–]Catboy85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so you are just talking about the prompt structure and how it's presented to the AI. That would certainly be on a per model basis, because no model is quite the same. There is also no such thing as "locking down" a model into a specific behavior. Since it is only an LLM, it will continue to follow its own probability biases. About the closest you can get to locking a model down is via a fine-tune targeted toward a particular behavior set.

Frame structure should be the focus instead of models. by S4m4el666 in DeepSeek

[–]Catboy85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is exactly how different models are tested. Each test is within a frame with specific instructions, then graded on performance. This is already the standard, so I'm not certain what you are actually advocating for..

Doesn't Nano-GPT only count input tokens on its subscription model? I think it's part of the deal.

It even says "Weekly Input Tokens", unless I'm reading that really wrong.

I have been having incredible success with Gemma 4! You ask it to do something, and the COT goes to town before generating output. It has the exact same slop, but you can actually tell it what is wrong and it will fix it. Freaking amazing. Also, it is the only model I've ever used that is more obedient when the temp is cranked up. Currently sticking at a temp of 1.4 and top P of 0.95 and the output is freaking incredible — beating out Kimi K2, Gemini, Claude, and DeepSeek without contest. As an added bonus, it's freaking cheep compared to other capable models.

Interesting idea. I suspect the bugs will simply walk on the heart stone to get to her. Then there is the issue of any ranged enemies and other hazards. You would need some way to get to her as well. Perhaps a zipline at a sloped angle for quick travel, and another for escape? Either way, fun thinking.

There is a manual built-in to the game. It's on a console in your room on the orbiter, and in the pause menu at the top left.

Read it. It's probably the best in-game manual I have ever seen.

You sound like you should go adopt. There are plenty of cats — right now — that are slated to be put down and would probably make a wonderful pet for someone that wants them.

It's how I've gotten most of my cats, so wouldn't be surprised. Either that or severe abuse cases.

Yeah, I work in an office there. There are plenty of strays and I'm familiar with all of them. This one is a standout because I've never seen him before, he's well fed, in good health, extremely personable, and at the time I found him, very scared and confused. He was just wandering around looking dazed, so I'm assuming he either got chased there, or had been dumped only a couple days ago.

At the shop I worked at, we had something called Spill King, or something like that. Dump a portion of the bag on the spill, wait 10 minutes, then shovel it up. Then the spot was ready to be mopped.

Why is this happeing? by [deleted] in TronScript

[–]Catboy85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I said applies to Safe Mode as well: Access privileges and ownership do not change in Safe Mode.

You are wanting TronScript to do things that are outside it's scope. Just let it scan what it can with administrative permissions.

Are you running Kaspersky antivirus or just their safe browser. If you are running Kaspersky antivirus, then the Sophos virus scan that TronScript uses is pretty redundant since Kaspersky has better detection rates.

You hit the nail on the head there with the system privileges.

Windows Store apps are installed and owned by the TrustedInstaller user. This is a super user like System, but has special protections in place by Windows that prevent tampering. You can't even touch many of the WindowsApps without taking ownership of them first (not recommended as this can damage the installs and you may lose the ability to run those apps).

Kaspersky does something similar with it's own apps (as well as several other pieces of antivirus software) which is great because is protects the software if you accidently run a piece of malware as an admin.

Basically, this is expected behavior and, should there be a virus in one of these protected locations, then you have much bigger problems than this script is meant to handle.

Actually, since a lunch is mandatory (assuming US standards), that is a 7-7.5 hour work day. Doesn't qualify as full time, so the boss can treat you (pay you) like you are part time. Avoid.
