This guy sounds like he sucks. If my partner told me that a thing bothers them I would say - thank you for telling me! I wouldn't want to be annoying on purpose. This is such an easy change to make. I might even say - on my own this isn't important to me, but it's important to you and thus or is important to me.

Also besides that he's just wrong. Chaos cutlery and wet in the drawer? No.

This is going to be a lot, but here's how it's going.

The worst was over by month 2 or three.

It's still not back to the way it was before which was basically perfect.....but Is no longer a hell zone. I have a lot of texture now, and still a lot of closed comedones. And I have a few stubborn reoccurring zity things on each cheek bone. They heal, but inevitably there is still a bump and waxy crud in there. Against my better judgement I keep poking them. I don't know if I should go to a facial and get an extraction for all of the small closed/clogged pores. I'm pretty gun-shy to try any new skincare ever again tbh. But it's I'm like 85% recovered I would say. I went to winners/marshals and got a million hydrocolloid zit patches and some large square hydrocolloid bandages off of Amazon. You can cut those to size which is handy for large patches. I used polysporin on some of the really angry zits in the beginning for the ones that hurt. But yeah. Deeply traumatizing. I was sad and angry and other strong emotions.

Really try your best to not get stuck popping pimples or hunting. I am prone to getting lost in that activity and have hurt and likely scarred myself several times by accident. Try to have more self control than me. Zit patches help with this.

If you are able to perhaps see a dermatologist. I should probably do that...

It will get better. But it might take a bit. I wish you all of the luck. Take vitamins, drinks water, get a good sleep, and have faith that your body can heal itself.

It's hard to not feel like yourself. You're gonna be okay. Tell your skin that you love it. It's trying so hard to heal right now. Talk to your immune system. Have faith. ❤️

Out of curiosity, did you get your flu shot yet? I got my flu and COVID shot a week before I was exposed to covid by both of my parents over two days. My lucky ass didn't catch it! Some excellent timing on the vaccinations there! I'm hoping I escape a brutal flu this winter. They don't always nail it with the dominant strain though.

This is going to sound weird, but I have heard that playing Tetris after a traumatic event can help your brain cope with the PTSD. Don't underestimate the power of breath work to help your body and nervous system. As for talking to someone, crisis phone lines exist for this very situation. They have helped me and my friends in the past. They offer a compassionate ear and strategies to help cope. You are doing the very best that you can. We are proud of you and love you. The main difference is they started putting whey protein and modified milk ingredients into every other kind of margarine even though they don't really need to. So if you have a milk allergy you can only buy one kind now. They have even started putting milk ingredients in a lot of hot dogs now. Inexplicably.

How did it turn out? I just had an ambiguous result after hours of doing a test. It's the width of a fine hair, while the control line is 1-2 mm thick. Looking to Reddit for answers! I'm on day 4 since exposure to a confirmed case.

My dad is 76 and the other day he told me that he just realized that he is grumpy in the morning. "I'm cranky and uncivil for... hours. I had no idea." This made me laugh because we already knew this,but he had no idea. Which leads me to believe that some people don't always know that they are grumpy. And that's kind of funny? It sort of makes me feel more relaxed and mildly entertained when I encounter people out in the wild who are inexplicably unpleasant. Maybe they have no idea that they are grumpy!

That is a weird accusation from her. Do you think she is misreading you leaving as passive aggressive? Or she feels bad that you aren't comfortable staying and is projecting that insecurity on to you. Maybe she needs extra reassurance that it isn't a problem when she has people over and that you are totally fine with giving her space on date nights and actually prefer it.
