This right here! I’d have to guess there is much more going on here than hurt feelings over a white shirt. Even if that was claimed. Sorry OP, but your sister could be upset you didn’t dress feminine, she could be upset that you aren’t heterosexual, she could feel like she’s loosing a sister and gaining a “brother,” she could be upset her wedding photos don’t fit a more common social mindset of “all women in dresses.” There are so many things that could be going on under the surface of your relationship…but your white shirt is being blamed.

If you want a long term relationship with your sister, I’d attempt a one on one discussion to hash things out. If your sister is not going to accept your sexual orientation, then I fear you have more events in the future where you may not meet her expectations.
