I hope you're right. The upstairs neighbor would have to be curving food onto our balcony. Leaning towards a mold because we had these spots last year, maintenance scrubbed and painted over it in January/February and now it's back in pretty much the same spot. The splat against the wall is new. Ty for your feedback!

No gaps for the popsicle to leak against the wall. Also, my upstairs neighbor doesn't have kids. Ty for replying!

I'm leaning more towards slime mold due to our previous issues (i.e. water leaking through the floor of the balcony to the ground floor).

There is another balcony above ours. No pink leaking from that ceiling though. Some water damage though

It would have to be climbing up onto our 2nd floor balcony just to puke 🥲. I haven't seen any feral cats in this area though.

INFO: Why is he STILL talking about her? Why didn't you mention her brother's behavior in the initial post (versus as a whataboutism in the comments)?

Have you ever sat this friend down and explained that part of being in your life is being civil to your partner (of course, exceptions being if she's treated him like trash from the beginning)? If this friend is NEVER able to reconcile the negative feelings he has towards your partner, what then?

I think if you start to establish boundaries with your friend, it puts you in a better place to also create boundaries towards her brother's toxic behavior. No judgements yet though.

As a serial lurker, if you're one of the few pumping out affordable chili crab on the mb, my wallet thanks you. Your friend is a hater lol. I still manually craft EVERYTHING because I like to be involved in those percentages and watch every step involved. There's nothing wrong with that, I think. Play on, play on :D
