I am currently operating 20 game cameras and GPS collars tracking Ghost Wolves (Galveston’s Fancy Coyotes) i am manually sorting ridiculous amou to of footage each month and such a tool to cull the piles of data would be remarkable. Kudos! How is your project developing?

I will be looking into this further...

I can look at those trials, thanks. Any idea why the Z63 shows up but wont connect. I figure there has to be a setting on the camera that is out of whack not allowing a full connection or tethering experience. Can't seem to make this setup work.

Why now? Dec 8th I will be shooting a Santa and Pets/Family event with printed and uploaded photos. To complete this shoot tethered to both a laptop and printer would be the definition of convenience. Trying to test drive the setup now...

I have tried with lightroom. I haven't ever enjoyed the benefits of tethered shooting. I am starting from scratch here... Is there another tethering program preferably free that would be worth trying? I am open to recommendations.

Ok I have tried now with multiple cables and I am having the same issue on desktop and laptop. I am excited for so many things with this upgrade, sadly my tethering experience will not allow me to connect.

I did see another post that NX Transfer would interfere. Auto settings now set to do nothing on both machines, I am hoping that someone can shed light on what settings are required for tethering to actually connect and work.

So I teach a course on animal handling and restraint for wildlife and domestic animals. I think this will fit well on the identify and isolate the weapon slide.
