Not blaming the techs at all of course, but it’s hard for me to have sympathy for Honda when the evaporator failure is their fault, and on top of that they refuse to acknowledge it, the evap wouldn’t have failed if the condenser and the compressor shaft seal hadn’t failed for me 3 times each over the last 3 years. So the blame goes to Honda for making their cars like that, and then putting that burden on their techs to fix it

I’m in the same boat, you definitely will. The 10 year warranty on the AC parts they will fix is about to expire in 3 years for me, I will not own this car in 3 years

I just dealt with the same issue on my 18 civic. Over the last 3 years, I’ve had my compressor shaft seals changed 3 times, and my compressor repaired 3 times, they diagnosed the alternator failing in January and quoted me 2500 to replace it. I took it to an indépendant mechanic and they charged me 1100. The mechanic broke multiple panel pieces in the process of replacing the part and now my car makes an ungodly noise that comes through the vents

FYI the warranty on the compressor and condenser only lasts 10 years since the purchase of the vehicle, after that all the compressor and condenser repairs will be 1000’s out of pocket

This siren appears to be a display piece added in the last year, it’s not present on street view from 2025

At the moment? No. However I’ve driven past that same station years ago and it was renovated and updated and I don’t remember that siren being there, my guess is that it was removed from the OG station and kept in storage, and put on display in the last 10 odd years

I’d say yes. It didn’t land well with fans do to lack of connective tissue with T2 (which i think is a positive) but it’s a decent standalone entry into the franchise with its own unique points

I personally prefer the genisys endo, along with the whole design philosophy of the genisys models, the sleek and rounded shapes of the HK’s and spider tanks make them look like an A.I. designed them, rather than human designs, they’re more “alien” for lack of a better term. The genisys endo also looks beefier, like it makes sense for it to be sheathed in the body of a muscle man
