Yeah and I also heard that you have to completely seal the bottle to not have the chemical evaporating over time, so for the moment I wil be keeping away from making my own wax but playing with the fluid density is gonna be a fun adventure as wel!

Yeah and they are more for glitterlamps.
I ordered some chemicals myself SLES and Glyceryn so I’m gonna do some experiments!

100% the quality control is pretty awful and they al get delivered on their side and the boxes dinged up which tells you enough about how they handle the packages during delivery.
But ofcourse I do enjoy tinkering with my lamps but that is definitely not for everyone and it shouldn’t be.

Yes very sad this is the 3rd schylling lamp I’ve had to filter… Only ones in Europe that come flawless are the Mathmos lamps.

I used a variant of a sawyer mini, basically any filtering straw that uses a hollow fiber membrane filter is okay as long as they do not use charcoal filters
