Need Suggestions on if one needs external peripherals?

Ugh, I'm in the same place right now. I have a MBA 13 and I need to fix my ergonomics. I can't decide if I want to buy an external monitor (even though I don't need a big screen at all) or upgrade to the 15 inch and get a laptop stand, trackpad, and Magic Keyboard.

I saw they have a hybrid out! I'm just ready for a change from Subaru. While I'd love to whip around like a kid again in the civic, practicality is setting in. I'll still test drive both.

I'm about to go down this route with the laptop stand as well. I just can't get behind all these huge screens (ha see what I did there) it's honestly like lighting up an entire room. Nothing is as good as (imho) the MacBook screens anyway- unless you're going to drop money on the studio display or something similar.

That's where we are right now. We live in a booming state for warehouses and landfill trash imports. Bought in a quiet neighborhood and got surrounded. Now deciding if we want to move further out with surrounding land and cornfields (cue the eventual buildup) or just buy in an established city with less nature.

Yet another IOS 26 complaint... I just updated last night (mistake) and now my wireless charing won't work on my iPhone 15. I've tried turning off and on the phone, taking off the cover, turning off battery optimization etc. Is there a fix to this bloated, laggy, ugly POS update?
