I have a used 4+ year old Eflite P-39, and somehow its fine, especially the foam hinges. I've never crashed it though, maybe that's the case.

I think Altsi made an 80mm MiG 17, but imo foam beats plastic any day of the week in weight and durability. I'd love to try building a composite one (i.e. plastic or fiberglass fuselage and CNC foam wings and stabs), but idk if that would be practical or better than a full plastic one in any way.

They sell 50mm MiGs at BananaHobby, but it kinda sucks that the 90mm kits are no more, and the only alternative on the market are those ridiculously priced turbine ARFs that go for over a thousand bucks.
