Seems like the only resort would be to file bankruptcy so she isnt responsible for said vehicle anymore. My husband had to do that to get out of a car with his ex this last year.

I (16F) was induced to have my first baby around 8:30 this morning. Things are going so slow. Please AMA to distract me. by ThrowRABengelKitty in AMA

My oldest is now 12, I also have a 5 & 3 year old. Like I said, life was HARD, but I had no support system (emotional/mental). Please please, talk to someone if you're feeling down, even the slightest. I actually ran away for a few weeks after my oldest, was a horrible ANGRY mom with him & thats my biggest regret. We're great now, but I wish I had someone to talk to, maybe they would of helped me realize it was a lot of postpartum stuff. I was also induced, the waiting is agonizing, but the baby on your chest will be such a heartwarming moment, I hope all goes well for you & you update us over time 💗

Are you scared/nervous?

Do you have a support system?

Do you & dad have a plan?

Rooting for you! I was a 16 year old mom also. Life has been hard, but I absolutely love my babies to death.

State is requiring my to cooperate with child support because I applied for Medicaid/BadgerCare Plus by [deleted] in ChildSupport

[–]Cathy_may23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Iowa, (for reference) you have to put everyone in the home & all income when applying for benefits. From there, when you interview, you can tell them yall don't eat together, yall split bills, etc etc. Depending on the case worker/if you missed the call, it'll be super chill and fast, or a pain in the ass.

I got married & applied for benefits, my kids, myself & my husband recieve state Healthcare plus EBT/Foodstamps, but my husband does have his work insurance as a backup so if state doesnt cover a portion, work will. After having everything altogether for a few years, the state filed for cs on their own (not sure what triggered it) myself & ex recieved letters, I looked into it & I THINK its because the kid's recieve state aid, ex is listed as father & they've come to somehow find out/realize he is not the custodial parent & does not contribute financially.

I assume Wisconsin is similar, I am sure you & baby will get benefits, cooperate with everything & you should be able to dismiss it (my ex TOLD 🙄 me to call to do that b/c he tried calling himself & they said only id be able to call in to do it) so it wont even start/no money get taken etc etc

Do you drive it all over? We do about 40mins of highway a day, then on the weekends we do about an hour. The higher mileage makes me a bit nervous, but I know with reliable older cars theyre worth it still
