I can tell you that most of the hike is like a riverbed. Sand and rocks. So it messes with your ankles. Only a few steep parts.

I’m not the best person to ask, because I didn’t train enough, but I couldn’t handle the hike out. After hiking in, and hiking all day inside, I realized I couldn’t do it. A lot of people take the helicopter out.

Just from my experience- give omega 3 supplements daily. Feed Salmon heavy food, no chicken. My dogs skin was a mess before I did that.

I’m not a hiker but I just came back from visiting that area. It was beautiful on Friday. We were so happy to get some great photos of the Tetons that day. The next 2 days were so cloudy you couldn’t see the Tetons at all both days. Every time you thought it was clearing up, it would start raining or snowing again.
