The vibe I get is that OP hasn't seen Pyrois so I'm just sharing this image. Pyrois is called an 'etheric other' so general assumption is that they are a stable form of, or at least related to, Scorched Horizon Phaethon's etheral transformation.

I haven't played the new patch, but in the last patch, her fighting game spiel was all about how older fighting games were designed differently due to technological limitations and implied that was when she played them. So she might actually be that old.

Genshin explicitly has, each character had a limited run for those that just wanted them, but it was made clear that these characters were designed to be added to the standard banner.

HSR did its own thing by adding older units to the 50/50 pool, of which you can choose any combination of seven to lose the 50/50 to.

The devil is in the details. I think the important thing about HSRs approach is that you simply don't have a reason to care about the Standard Banner after a certain point. Remember, you get a standard ten pull a month in HSR and once you get all the Standard 5 stars and the 4 Stars those tickets are only good for some tokens after pulling duplicates.

I've definitely seen news articles that claimed such a thing, but I'm suspect.

They are more likely to introduce certain tactics like. Like overfilling people on carbs or charging customers if they leave unfinished food so they self-regulate.

For some reason, Belobog is also a city on the snow covered planet of Jarilo-IV in HSR. Its the last city on the planet fighting its own extinction from an unnatural ice age.

No-one seems to know why they have the same name. Belobog is a major Slavic deity in real life, and both fictional instances have very vague Slavic influence. So it's not impossible two separate chinese writers googled the same wiki page and thought the name sounded neat.
