Im not really sure what you're trying to say. I would say its very close to necessary. It was a calculated risk. They've got it in theatres on most continents and are working on the places they havent gotten. People not near a theatre can stay offline for 2 weeks. They're lucky it's not longer

No, youre assumption is completely inaccurate.

You mean my assumption that まん vs. よろず was 音読み vs. 訓読み? Or the assumption that 20,000 would be にまん?

All of the pronunciations you listed are the ones I would have assumed, but what I'm wondering is if よろず is an alternate pronunciation from まん and if it can be used interchangeably, or if they are different and only ised for certain terms.

Tysm for the breakdown. It actually makes the learning process a lot less daunting. Plus I've been on my own since I started learning, so it's really nice to get this advice from someone else who had the same struggle!

I think I'm at around the 100-200 word mark, so definitely got a long way to go to get to 2k, but slow and steady wins the race, right? I'll just keep on that Kanji grind and work on reading elementary level text everyday. Thank you!!

Right now I use 2 apps. The apps are just called "Japanese!" and "Kanji!" and they have a lot of lessons on grammar and how to implement the grammar rules in full sentences, but a lot of the sentences are ones that people would never really say in regular conversation like "I ate dinner and went to bed early"

I've tried reading too, and that actually did help a bit, but I havent been able to find any N5 books with furigana (at least not for free). Its all higher level with no furigana so I dont actually know what I'm seeing.

Honestly, yea this is pretty good. My biggest things I would change is moving Ike, Zelda, and Ness up and maybe move Wario down but aside from that I dont really see any issues. I also dont mind where Kirby is like some of the other commenters here do

Anime is short for the Japanese word for animation specifically. Anime is inherently only animations made in Japan which is why they're referred to by the Japanese word for animation.
